Foremost, may all fellow Bodhi Meditation practitioners be blessed with: great health and happiness, auspiciousness and a smooth fulfilling year!
No matter what the experiences in the past year, it is all past. As the New Year approaches, the celestial deities will send us auspiciousness. How can we receive the auspiciousness?
I have written a poetic couplet:
Cultivate a prosperous fate with compassion and merits;
Possess noble virtues with kind thoughts.
The title of the couplet is: Blessings from Merits and Virtues.
To receive auspicious, we should be compassionate, speak nicely and do more good deed to accumulate merits and virtues from the first day of the new year. Such people will surely receive the protection of deities and buddhas.
They will have good fate and good luck; they and their descendants will be auspicious and prosperous.
If everyone can be compassionate and gentle, and does good deeds to accumulate merits and virtues, the society will experience peace and well-being.
I wish everyone abundant wealth, bountiful blessings, everlasting prosperity, much laughter and joy.
May there be favorable weather for crops and a bumper harvest of grain throughout the world. May countries flourish and people live in harmony. May the world live in peace.
